Using Inbuilt Chrome :
For the first method, you are going to use the official inbuilt chrome app which is available on your phone. Now type youtube.com in the search box and search the video which you want to play in the background
Now after selecting the video, which you want to play in background, click on the Settings option on the top right corner and select the check box Desktop site
Once that is done, YouTube will be displayed in desktop mode, now pause the video and come out of the chrome app by clicking the home button. now slide down the panel, you can find your video displayed with the play option
Now Click on the play button, to play the selected YouTube video in background, while using other apps, and by this method, you can also play youtube in screen lock as well.

Using YouTube Application :
Now for the second method, we are going to use the official YouTube app available on the phone, first go to the official YouTube app and search for the video which you want to play in the background. After selecting the video, click the pause button on your YouTube video.
now for this method, we are going to use split-screen functionality, by default all phone have a split-screen option, first, pause the selected youtube video and enable split-screen mode on your phone. select any other app on the second screen of split-screen mode.
Now click the play button on the youtube video, After that, click on the home button and come out of the YouTube application, to play the selected YouTube video in the background.
So, by these two methods, you can play the selected YouTube video in background, while using other apps, and by these methods, you can also play youtube in screen lock as well.
