OnePlus 5T smartphone with 6.01-inch 1080×2160 display powered by 2.45GHz octa-core processor alongside 6GB of RAM and 20-megapixel rear camera, was released last month, but there is already speculation on the next flagship smartphone from the company.
According to GizmoChina, its source claims that the OnePlus 6 could be unveiled as early as March 2018. The launch is likely to be in the middle of March with retail availability at the end of the month.
The source also said that the OnePlus 6 will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform and sport an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is not known if OnePlus will be using Synpatics’ recently announced Clear ID FD9500 optical in-display fingerprint sensor. Synaptics is believed to be working with a top five OEM to mass produce the optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
